Description:
GBA Care Ltd currently has 3 x registered children’s homes. Our current homes can accommodate 11 Young People which can support complex needs, emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Our homes are situated in Halifax and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Our male only setting is in a rural location and our other homes are in more urban residential locations, whilst remaining iscreet and private.
GBA Care has a highly skilled, knowledgeable, experienced and motivated care team, ensuring the unique needs of the young people are successfully met. This is evidenced by our Ofsted inspections and external care audits, which consistently evidence our ‘outstanding’ outcomes for the young people in our care. We have established successful partnerships with numerous placing authorities and through these links, we create comprehensive and individualised care plans to meet young people’s individual physical, personal, social, psychological/emotional, behavioural, spiritual, communication and health needs. Our professional link with CCATS supports young people with more complex needs.
All referrals and admissions will be considered for; emergency, planned, short breaks and long-term placements and ultimately progression or immediate admission to our 16+ Supported Pathway programs. Our referrals are discussed with our partnership with CCATS prior to admission.
Each home has a clear established successful link to our own progressive 16+ Supported Pathway Placements program, providing continuity and a clear direction to self-reliance and true independence.
GBA Care can also offer intense support packages within each home’s setting and within the community, ranging from 1:1 to 2:1 if required, providing intense supervision and continuity.
