Description:
The home is situated in a semi-rural area of Bacup, Lancashire, known as the Rosendale Valley; it is surrounded by open fields, hills and moors.
There is healthcare provision, leisure facilities such as swimming and gym in the village, youth clubs, three parks and many country walks. Rochdale is 5 miles away with numerous amenities, and transport links such as rail and motorway networks.
Choices has 2 large farmhouses with safe play equipment set in 5 acres of land. We have living areas with all usual amenities, 9 bedrooms and four bathrooms to give staff and each young person their own safe, comfortable and private space. All rooms/communal areas are maintained to a high standard and the young people are encouraged to personalise their own bedrooms. Each bedroom is fitted with TV and electric points so that they can enjoy using their own equipment and workspace facilities. To the front, there is a small garden. There is a fenced off play area for the young people at the rear of the home, including swings, trampoline and garden toys for younger children.
Choices 4 Children creates a safe, happy and caring environment, where we create opportunities for young people to achieve their personal best in as many aspects of their lives as possible. Our home provides care, guidance, support and leisure with high levels of qualified and caring staff.
