Description:
Pioneer TEC is a small, independent residential school offering specialist, residential alternative education (AE) provision for students 11 to 18 years, with a particular focus on difficult to place young people.
We work to improve life chances and outcomes for young people and support them post-leaving care and education to enable them to have access to a full-time job and a safe suitable place to live.
We are providing accommodation by way of new modern park lodges, situated on our own 70-acre exclusive education and activity site.
The main advantages of developing a residential school on-site is that it greatly improves safeguarding and helps us to manage the risks that LAC young people face, physically, socially and emotionally, when they are placed in a new host community.
Pioneer TEC is in the process of submitting plans for a new state-of-the-art modern residential school building, which will be powered by solar and wind energy and carbon free.
Pioneer TEC has the support of a great staff team, which will enable us to achieve the vision for young people who will benefit from Pioneer Tec in the future.
