Description:
We are a residential children’s home registered for 4 young people aged from 8-18 years with learning disabilities. We have an experienced team of staff specialising in Autism.
A large detached homely property surrounded by rolling countryside and with views of Belvoir Castle and a menagerie of animals onsite. With a large lounge, dining room and kitchen, a dual use playroom /sensory room filled with various toys, musical instruments, lights and sensory equipment. A wide range of craft materials are available and the young people express their creative and artistic flare throughout the home for all to share.
The young people have 4 Large bright and airy bedrooms that they help to personalise, all with lovely views of the village location. We have extensive gardens and grounds giving plenty of opportunity for being involved in outdoor sports, activities, walks, cycling and exploring the wonders of nature. Daily activities/care of the animals are also incorporated into the routines of the young people for the therapeutic benefits of animal interaction.
