Description:

We are a very large Children’s Home set in a tranquil location on the foreshore, we can provide care for up to 4 children with EBD. The home is substantial in size to allow for the nurturing and development of the children.

The Home comprises of a large lounge, kitchen and dining area, a games room. All the bedrooms are substantial in size and are all equipped with en-suite facilities, substantial gardens, offering lots of scope for development with the children and a clinical/therapeutic room.  

The Home will implement the Trauma Recovery Model by Jonny Matthew and we will have a Clinical Lead who will be based within the Home, to offer specialist advice, support and guidance to the Team. As well as building relationships with the children and supporting them with regards to their past experiences, early childhood thus helping them to successfully progress and achieve in life. The happiness, settlement, views, wishes and feelings of the children who come in to our care are our main objectives. All children will be encouraged to participate and will be consulted about all fundamental decisions made within the Home. Feedback from the children is also crucial to understand any areas in, which the service could improve their lives.

The Company promotes the training and development of the team within, staff retention and wellbeing is high priority. We only employ persons who are genuine about the Care and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
