Names and Qualifications: All RSCW’s have completed or are working towards the QCF Level 3 Children and Young People. Our staff are all Team-Teach trained and therefore are experienced in dealing with challenging behaviour and de-escalation techniques.
Registered school: The school opened in 2005 and has only ever been assessed as Outstanding.

Pear Tree has 6 Residential homes looking after children on a long-term basis, a small independent special school, 3 farms as part of the therapeutic approach and education curriculum.

Pear Tree is a specialist facility with experience dealing with young people with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties.

We have an Ofsted registered 'Outstanding' small school, which specialises in dealing with the young people that use our service, that can support with special educational needs. Young people have their own individual education plan. We have small class sizes and a structured varied curriculum to inspire young people to want to engage with education. 

We implement firm and consistent boundaries within a caring and nurturing environment to help young people reach a normal development pathway.
