ROC Home provides safe, nurturing and caring homes for children and young people who present challenging and complex behaviours.  We work with partners to encourage young people to achieve the best outcomes possible so they can go on to lead positive adult lives.

We provide support, care and accommodation to 2 children within each childrens home.

We have input from Aspire to support the therapeutic aspect of support.  We are passionate about providing person centred, bespoke packages of care developed around the needs of the young person and offer support to all areas of their care and support system.  Provision of consultation-based advice and support for the residential staff and carers is essential when working with complex, traumatised young people and systems.  This can range from developing a knowledge base, skills and expertise in understanding complex presentations, reflective practice on challenging behaviours, feeding into care plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support plans, incorporating therapeutic parenting and PACE into working with young people and the importance of building positive relationships.  The focus of this work will be around creating an environment where the staff team/foster carers and other professionals involved, feel listened to, non-judged and are able to explore the impact of caring and working with a traumatised young person through clinical supervision and encouraging reflective practice.
