Description:
Barnardo’s has a portfolio of children’s homes across the UK. We deliver children’s homes for children and young people in care with a range of needs including:
- those who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences;
- those who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences; and
- Special Educational Needs, Learning Disabilities and Autism.
The purpose of our children’s homes includes:
- Returning to family (maybe short-term emergency provision)
- Moving to or back into fostering placement
- In need of a longer-term stable home
- Transitioning to adult services or moving on to supported accommodation or move-on provision
- Long-term home for children with disabilities or SEND
- Short breaks for children with SEND and/or significant physical disabilities.
