Description:
TVRS support children and young people aged (8yrs – 18yrs) with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and those with autistic spectrum conditions in our home.
Our home environment is warm, welcoming and safe, adequately staffed with a team of experienced qualified workers. Each child or young person has a person-centre care plan in place that reflects their needs, feeling and wishes in a way that makes sense to them, and using communication tools specific to the child/young person.
Our aim is to provide a safe place where young people can experience consistent and secure boundaries which support individual growth and achievement. We provide high-quality placements meeting individual needs, education, social, psychological and health care, supporting improved and evidenced outcomes.
Our support ranges from short-term breaks, medium breaks, long-term care to full-time residential placements. TVRS put young people first and build and maintain positive relationships.
Our recent Ofsted report states “Young people receive individually tailored care and are thriving in this service. They are making excellent progress in many aspects of their well-being, particularly in their ability to self-regulate their behavior and engage more positively with other people, new experiences and learning. Parents praise the quality of care and the positive impact that the home has had on their children.”
TVRS also operate an off-site centre that residents are able to access. The centre includes a sensory room, IT area, chill out zone, table football and much more.
