Description:
Progress House is owned by the Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education and adjoins the site of the Charity’s school and college, but is managed as a separate provision.
Progress House is set in the Charity’s twelve acres of grounds overlooking the River Exe and is ten minutes’ walk from the city centre and only a few miles from sea and open countryside.
The House is a Children’s Home specialising in caring for children or young people between the ages of 5 and 17, with some form of Deafness or communication difficulties, as well as addressing possible other needs such as behavioural, emotional or social difficulties.
