Specialist services: At Mutual Care, we commission a Clinical Psychologist (Certified Practitioner in DDP), to provide professional support to the staff team with Clinical Supervision and can, if appropriate, provide one to one and/or family support.

Mutual Care provides a unique package of support and care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for vulnerable children & young people who require a residential home, which provides a ‘home from home’ experience.
Our aim is very simple. We want to ensure that each child or young person’s residential experience is positive, highly beneficial & tailored to meet their individual needs.
Located just outside a small village in South Devon, our home provides a rural & tranquil environment, situated within open fields & farmland, with public transport links from the village, which is a short walk away and close to several towns. Therefore, benefitting from an array of facilities & central to many local activities, amenities & tourist attractions. Local to our home, there are a range of services available to support the children & young people.
Mutual Care will offer placements for children & young people who display challenging behaviour, including emotional & behavioural difficulties. Providing individual care packages for up to 3 young people from 4-18 years old. We provide high quality care in a warm, loving, caring environment, where the children & young people feel safe, secure & most importantly they feel wanted & valued. We will seek to promote the well-being of the children & young people in our care by providing a family-orientated atmosphere where positive relationships are built on mutual respect, trust & understanding.
